Sandy Spring Gardens is a diversified vegetable farm, offering over 50 vegetables from May through November. Farmer Tom was a long-time educator and gardener began his full time career in farming after retiring from Sidwell Friends School in 2015. Sandy Spring Gardens uses regenerative growing practices that restore soil fertility through the use of compost and cover crops in crop rotations.
